Hi everyone !!

I will be reviewing the Simple Kind to Skin Protecting Light Moisturiser. It comes with SPF 15 and provides protection against UVA and UVB rays. This moisturiser contains no artificial perfume or colour, no harsh chemicals that can upset your skin, no alcohol and no animal derived ingredients. It is formulated without parabens and phthalates. Simple Light Moisturiser Review will give you all details about this product.

Price : Rs 395 for 125 ml

It has a white creamy texture which is neither thick nor runny. It has the perfect consistency and gets absorbed into the skin completely leaving behind a non-greasy feeling. This feels hydrating and does not leave behind a white cast on the skin. It sinks into the skin completely. It is also dermatologically tested and is hypoallergenic.

The packaging of this moisturiser is very elegant and sturdy. It won’t spill as the cap fits snugly and there would be no spillage in case you wish to travel with this bottle in your handbags.

Pro-Vitamin B5 present in this moisturiser is best known for being a humectant that retains and preserves moisture and is suitable for use with all skin types.  Pro-Vitamin B5 also works as natural skin healer and protector. It also helps the skin regenerate overnight. It also has anti-ageing properties.

Vitamin E present in the moisturiser is a powerful antioxidant and protects the skin from free radicals and softens the skin as well.

Glycerin acts as a humectant and helps attract moisture to skin, helps combat dry skin by minimizing the water loss keeping the skin hydrated. It can be used on all skin types including oily skin.

Allantoin helps in making the skin softer, resilient and hydrated. It is also known to soothe the skin and is an effective moisturizing ingredient which increases the smoothness of skin. Allantoin provides hydration and relief to dry skin and also has healing properties.

Bisabolol is also a natural humectant which deeply moisturizes your skin. It helps skin hold onto moisture, so it’s less likely to dry out the skin. It penetrates deep into the layers of the skin which helps in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Bisabolol is gentle on sensitive skin and is a skin healing agent. The main property of bisabolol is its skin calming effect.

Simple Kind to Skin Protecting Light Moisturiser claims to provide moisturisation for 12 hours which I absolutely agree with. I generally apply this moisturiser once in the morning and once at the night for moisturisation. It does moisturise my skin very well and is perfect for sensitive skin. I apply this moisturiser on to my face neck area with gentle upward and outward movements. This moisturiser suits my combination-to-oily skin perfectly and gets absorbed quickly without leaving any oily or greasy feeling. This is a light weight moisturiser which does not feel sticky when you apply it on to your skin. So far I am in love with this moisturiser and I would highly recommend this moisturiser to people with combination-to-oily skin type. I don’t think this moisturiser would work for dry skin as it is not hydrating enough for dry skin which requires a little more moisturisation for feeling hydrated all day. The moisturiser feels super light on the skin and hydrates and moisturises the skin perfectly for the whole day and you do not need to re-apply this moisturiser twice a day until unless you wash your face again.

With this moisturiser a little product goes a long way and this product will work for oily acne prone skin and it is specially designed for sensitive skin. I have been using this moisturiser for more than three months and I am currently in love with this moisturiser for daily use. This moisturiser works in the humid weather of Kolkata.

Though this moisturiser comes with SPF 15, it is essential to apply a sunscreen on top of this moisturiser as SPF 15 would not provide protection against UVA and UVB rays for longer duration. However, you can easily wear this moisturiser without sunscreen if you have to stay indoors only. This moisturiser gives a soft and supple looking skin which looks nourished as well.

I have also used this moisturiser underneath foundation and I must say that it acts as a perfect base. The foundation glides easily on to the moisturised skin and the foundation does not look patchy when you apply the foundation on top this foundation. This moisturiser works wonderfully as a makeup base too.

I would likely recommend the Simple Kind to Skin Protecting Light Moisturiser to all those who are looking for a good and effective moisturiser for sensitive skin. You do get impressive results with this moisturiser. It helps keep the skin moisturised, nourished and healthy-looking.

You can purchase this moisturiser online and is not currently available in offline stores.
