Lakme Peach Milk Ultra Light Gel moisturizer comes in this light peach coloured plastic tub packaging with a separator to protect the gel from spilling all over the lid. I like the simple tub packaging of the moisturizer. The only con being that you have to dip your fingers everytime to scoop out the product.
Lakme Peach Milk Ultra Light Gel moisturizer has a very silky, smooth texture that is slightly pinkish in colour. This gel has a sort of slight runny texture so be careful when you open the lid of the moisturizer. The formula is extremely light weight and gets absorbed into your skin in a few seconds without leaving behind any greasy feeling.
I love applying light weight moisturizers on my skin which hydrate and moisturize my skin effectively. Hence, I went ahead and tried out the Lakme Peach Milk Ultra Light Gel moisturizer which seemed like an ideal non greasy gel for my combination-to-oily skin.
What I absolutely loved about this moisturizer is the silky texture this gel has which feels very smooth to touch on application. I am in love with the super light weight formula of this moisturizer which does not make you feel sweaty post application on your skin. This moisturizer does give you a slight cooling sensation when you apply this moisturizer on your skin. It gets absorbed into your skin immediately without leaving behind any greasy feeling and gives you a soft and supple look. I loved how light weight this gel is with good hydrating property for your skin. You can also apply this moisturizer under your makeup to give your skin a flawless and moisturized look.
I don’t personally like the smell of the peach fragrance that this moisturizer has. I don’t mind the fragrance of the moisturizer but it can be as issue for sensitive skin. So if you are allergic to fragrance in your skincare products then you should skip this Lakme Peach Milk Ultra Light Gel moisturizer. I don’t apply this moisturizer on a daily basis but use it 2 to 3 times a week only. This moisturizer does contain some harsh ingredients which can ruin your skin in the long run, hence I skip applying this gel everyday.
The claim of this moisturizer that it provides 24 hour moisturization is not true. It moisturizes your skin for around 4 to 5 hours approximately. I think this is a good moisturizer for combination-to-oily skin as this is quite light weight.
Overall considering the price of this moisturizer, I think this is a decent moisturizer for combination-to-oily skin and I won’t recommend this moisturizer to dry skin people. Also sensitive skin people might stay away from this moisturizer due to its fragrance.
