Both of the Earth Rhythm face gels come inside a beautiful tin packaging that looks very pleasing to the eyes. I love the packaging of the face gels but I always prefer pump packaging to wide tub packaging as I find pump packaging more hygienic. Overall, these are cute packaging that are travel friendly as well.
The Earth Rhythm face gels have a clear gel like texture which is light weight yet moisturizing. Also, they do not feel heavy or oily on my combination to oily skin. I love the light weight, fragrance free formulation of both these face gels. These will suit the sensitive skin very well.
First let’s talk about the Earth Rhythm Sea Glow Gel. It claims to provide 72 hr hydration and is oil free and lightweight. I absolutely agree that this is lightweight and an oil free formulation but I don’t quite agree with the 72 hr hydration claim. For my combination-to-oily skin, I felt this face gel was not hydrating enough. But when I layered another layer of moisturizer over this face gel, it worked pretty well for me. So if you belong to the dry skin category then applying another layer of moisturizer along with this face gel becomes a must. I don’t think this is hydrating enough in itself. I am little disappointed with that but I do like this face gel as this does what it claims. It is suitable for dry and flaky skin. This face gel does have soothing properties which I love. You can apply this hydrating face gel at night and leave it overnight or you can even rinse it off. I generally like to apply the face gel as a leave on rather than rinsing it off after some time. But both ways this face gel works well.
This is a good face gel with good hydrating properties and it definitely makes my skin look a lot more soft, smooth and plump. I do recommend this face gel even if you have sensitive or acne prone or inflamed skin. This is a must try face gel for everyone!
Now let’s talk about the Cica Gel. This is my absolute favourite face gel. I am in love with this Cica gel as it has got immense healing properties. It helps in reducing redness on my skin, also helps in fading scars and is anti-inflammatory. I started loving this Cica gel right from the first application. It felt oil free and light on my skin and I also found it to be moisturizing. I have no complains with the Cica gel. This is definitely a lightweight gel cream that gets absorbed into my skin quickly. I don’t feel the need to apply another layer of moisturizer over this face gel which was a must whenever I applied the Sea Glow Gel. Whenever I apply this gel, I feel that this Cica gel is healing my skin. I also love the calming effect of this face gel. This is an amazing face gel which is going to suit acne-prone skin with blemishes. You are going to love applying this Cica gel as it is an amazing face gel for all skin types. If you have got combination or oily skin type, then this is a must have face gel. The centella asiatica present inside this face gel acts as a natural anti-inflammatory and does help in fading away scars from my face.
Both of the face gels from Earth Rhythm are amazing and work wonders on my skin but I clearly love the Cica Gel a liitle bit more than the Sea Glow Gel.
