The facial wash has a very sleek packaging with little leaf designs on the white bottle with a pump to dispense the product from the bottle. The bottle has clear lid which fits snugly but I would not recommend you to carry the bottle in your handbags as the lid would come off while travelling. The packaging is elegant and hygienic though.
CGG Cosmetics Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Face Wash is yellow in colour and has a water like consistency. It has a very weird smell which I don’t like at all. The facial wash does not lather a lot when you mix water and massage your face with it. The consistency is thin and water like and spreads easily on the entire face without being harsh on the skin.
I was looking for a good facial wash for myself as I ran out of my previous The body Shop Tea Tree Face Wash. I loved that face wash a lot but I wanted to try out a new product this time. So I ordered this CGG Cosmetics Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Face Wash as it claims to be paraben and sulphate free. It is also dermatologically tested and cruelty free product. I have heard a lot about the benefits of Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid for the skin. Hence, I was looking forward to trying out this facial wash.
I have noticed that the facial wash cleanses my skin thoroughly and does not dry out my skin. I don’t necessarily need a moisturiser as soon as I wash my face with this facial wash. You require just a little quantity of this facial wash for your entire face. This facial wash does not lather much but it effective in cleaning your face and removes all traces of dirt, dust and oil from your face. The smell of the CGG Cosmetics Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Face Wash is weird and it puts me off. I would not recommend this face wash just for the sake of the its smell.
Though the face wash contains Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid, your skin hardly benefits from those ingredients as eventually you have to wash it off from your face. The skin does not get the benefits as the skin does not get the chance to absorb the benefits of the ingredients. Hence I don’t think Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid is required in this face wash. I don’t think any face wash can reduce fine lines and wrinkles from your face as you hardly apply for a minute after which you wash it off. But I do feel it clears up the pores of the skin and is slightly effective on blemishes. It leaves the skin feeling clean and fresh though.
It is a good face wash for combination-to-oily skin and is effective enough in removing excess oils from your face. It might feel drying on people who have dry skin naturally. I won’t recommend this for dry skin.
I don’t think this is a must have face wash and I think its slightly pricier also. The smell of the face wash is a turn off too. Overall CGG Cosmetics Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Face Wash is a decent face wash with added benefits of being paraben and sulphate free. So this is my Cgg Cosmetics face wash review.
